Happy Valentine’s day from these two rather smart Mediterranean gulls!
Just one of the breeding species to see in the Golfe du Morbihan regional park, together with Black-winged stilt, Pied avocet, Bluethroat, Fan-tailed warbler and Cirl bunting. Resident species include Black woodpecker, Lesser spotted woodpecker, Eurasian rock pipit, Long-eared owl and Short-toed treecreeper. The picturesque Brittany coastline is alive with birds in winter, with very large numbers of many waders and enormous numbers of Brent Geese.
Combine with the Brière regional park for a birdwatching bonanza!
Come by ferry to St Malo or Roscoff for a #lowcarbonbirding trip.
